MISSION: To serve ASME members, software developers, and IT professionals involved in developing and/or using computing and IT tools in mechanical engineering applications.

1. Purpose: The purpose of JCISE is to disseminate technical information through quarterly publications of permanent interest as well as innovations in the area of Computing & Information Science. Papers must demonstrate applications or potential applicability and relevance to mechanical or mechatronic product development.

2. Scope: The Journal encourages articles in all areas of Computing & Information Science applied to technical product and process development. JCISE encourages papers in interdisciplinary scientific and technological areas integrating Mechanical Engineering, Information Science & Technology, and/or Mathematics.
